SoundAlert is designed for the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR): the app keeps its data on your device and does not send it to us or to anyone else. There are no accounts and no ads. The website uses Google Analytics only if you accept analytics cookies — see our Cookie Policy.
Your Rights Under GDPR
1. Right of Access
You have the right to know what data we process about you. All data is visible directly in the app — settings, statistics, and alert history.
2. Right to Rectification
You can modify your settings and preferences directly in the app at any time.
3. Right to Erasure
You can delete all your data by clearing app data in Android Settings, or by uninstalling the app. No data remains on any external server.
4. Right to Data Portability
All data is stored locally in standard Android SharedPreferences format on your device.
5. Right to Object
You can disable monitoring, turn off alerts, or uninstall the app at any time to stop all data processing.
6. Right to Restriction of Processing
You can selectively disable individual features (monitoring, specific apps, device types) without uninstalling.
Data Processing Basis
We process data based on legitimate interest (providing the app's core functionality) and consent (you choose to install and configure the app).

- • All AI processing happens on-device
How to Exercise Your Rights
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you can exercise most rights directly:
View your data: Open the app → Settings & Statistics
Delete your data: Android Settings → Apps → SoundAlert → Clear Data
Stop processing: Disable protection in the app or uninstall
